"Please confirm the login by answering the email that we sent you". Why does this error message appear when I try to create an account?

If you received the log in error message "Please confirm the login by answering the email that we sent you" 


This happens when you try to log in from another country and your account security settings have been set to "Confirm logins outside of my school's country by email for my account". In this case, Private-Radar sends you an email with the subject "Critical security alert for your Private-Radar account" and a link to confirm that the IP is secure.
