Schedule Overview

Welcome to this Private-Radar tutorial, i n this video I’ll give you an overview of the Schedule Module. 


Schedule Controls and Configuration     


Date (0:07)


In the top left corner, you can set the date and choose to display a single day, 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks, or a full month with the dropdown list.  


Bases (0:18)


Below the date, use the dropdown to select a single base or view all bases at once. 


Resource List (0:25)


On the left-hand side, the Resource List displays all your resources, grouped into the categories: Aircraft, Users, and Classrooms. You can choose to display all the resources or some of them by clicking on the Filter button. 


Clicking on a resource opens its information window. You can navigate directly to an aircraft or a user profile by clicking the ‘Go to’ button. 


Filter Resource Types (0:47) 


You can filter resource types by clicking the gear icon located to the right of the bases dropdown menu. 


When a filter is active, a blue dot appears above the gear icon as a visual indicator. 


Resize (0:59)


You can easily resize the resource list: just hover or put your finger over the column border until the resize arrow appears, then drag to adjust, as needed.  


You can also adjust the height of the rows: position your mouse or your finger over the separation line of two rows until the resize arrow appears, then drag to adjust, as needed.  


Time Range (1:20)  


You can adjust the visible time range by using the drop-down on either side of the timeline (at the top of the window) to select the start and end times.  


Other Features (1:28)

 

Other features in the Schedule include Auto-Scheduling, which you can use to automatically create an optimised schedule.  


The Booking Types filter that lets you control which bookings are displayed by filtering by flight or ground lesson type. 


The Saved View drop down gives you the option to create and save custom views for quick access.  


The Publish button allows you to publish a pre-schedule into a live schedule accessible to all users with permission to view it.  


The Refresh button allows you to update your schedule immediately. Please note the schedule will also update automatically every minute and rolls over to the next day on its own, allowing you to display the schedule on an external TV screen.   


Booking content (1:56)


Bookings are color-coded and display key operational details including flight/lesson type, status, and scheduling information.  


You can click on the booking to display the tooltip with more information.  


Classrooms (2:21)


Classrooms are displayed at the bottom of the schedule.  


You can use the Add button in the bottom-right corner to add a new classroom to the schedule. 


Notes (2:29) 


You can add HTML notes to the Schedule to include additional information at the top of the view.  


To add a note, click on the Plus Button located in the bottom-right corner and select Add Note.  


Dispatch tab (2:37)


You can see the bookings organised by their status in the Dispatch tab located at the top of the schedule.  


Students tab (2:42)


You can see an overview of all active courses, with the students enrolled in them, and their current progress through the syllabus in the Students tab.
