Dispatch Settings for Super Administrators

In this tutorial, I will show you the dispatch settings for the Super-Administrators.


To access these features, you need to log in as a Super-Admin, for more information please check out the Super Admin Log-in Tutorial in Admin Settings.


As a reminder, the dispatch function is available from the Schedule module when you click on a booking. For more information check out the Dispatch a Flight tutorial in Schedule Settings.


You can prevent a dispatch booking by creating a time constraint that can result in preventing a dispatch X minutes before the beginning of the booking and/or prevent a dispatch X minutes after the beginning of the booking.


For example, if you prevent dispatching a booking 30 minutes before its beginning, and the booking starts at 9:00, It will not be possible to dispatch it before 8:30.


This option is very important for the Aircraft Tracking system too: if you dispatch a flight before the beginning of a booking the system will search for the dispatched flight using the time before dispatch. If you don't set it up, the ATS will not be able to find the booking.


You can also set up these aircraft constraints:


1. Prevent dispatch when a maintenance item is overdue.


2. Prevent dispatch when a certificate is missing or expired.


You can also set up these user constraints:


1. Prevent dispatch when the booking is not approved.


2. Prevent dispatch when a certificate is missing or expired.


3. Prevent dispatch when the PIC is not current.


4. Prevent dispatch when the TSA is not valid.


Finally, you can make the signature of the PIC mandatory.
