In this tutorial, you will learn how to delete theory bookings and meetings. 

Theory bookings and meetings appear in the Classrooms section of the Schedule. They are displayed in the selected classroom row and cover the time period defined when the booking was created. 

To permanently delete a booking, open the dropdown in the tooltip and select delete. You can also use the shortcut to delete a booking which is the delete button. (The shortcuts are located next to each of the options) 

You will then see a confirmation message. Select Yes to permanently delete the booking or No to cancel the action. 

If it is a recurring booking, you will see the confirmation message, 

If the booking is part of a recurring series, you will see the following confirmation message: 

Do you want to delete: 

• This booking, 

• This and following bookings, 

• All bookings. 

By selecting This booking, you will Permanently delete only the selected booking. 

If you select This and following bookings, you will permanently delete the selected booking and all recurring bookings scheduled after it. 

Lastly, if you select All bookings, it will permanently delete the entire recurring series, including all past and future bookings created from the original booking. 

Select ok to continue or cancel the action if you do not wish to proceed. 

Attention: When you delete a theory booking, you also delete the associated Attendance (including grades if it’s an exam), which will remove it from your students’ progress. Deleted bookings will also not appear in the reports. For this reason, we advise that deleting a booking should only be used when a booking was created by mistake. 

Unlike deleted bookings, cancelled bookings remain recorded in the system and can be included in reports generated within the Reports module.
