How to Add-Edit-Delete-Print a Work Order

In this tutorial, I will show you how to Add, Edit, Delete, and Print a CAMO Work Order.


The purpose of the CAMO or Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization module is to help you manage your maintenance workflow and ensure that your aircraft are in safe operational conditions.


The CAMO Work Orders will help you register and coordinate all maintenance activities.


Now, let me show you how it works.


First, log in to your account.


ADD A CAMO WORK ORDER: (0:33)


1. Go to the CAMO Module.


2. Click on the ‘Work Orders’ tab.


3. Click on the ‘plus’ icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.


4. Here you will be able to add all the information needed for the Work Order, such as the Work Order Number and Date Requested, choose the aircraft from the drop-down menu, and define the number of total airframes, engines, and propellers.


5. Include the AMP (Aircraft Maintenance Programme) reference and the AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual) reference.


6. Check the appropriate box for the Work Order type.


7. Add the tasks to be performed by clicking on the grey "Add a Task" button, in the bottom left-hand corner of the pop-up window.


8. This will open the “Add/Edit Task” window. Here you can select the “License Category” from the drop-down menu, and enter more precise details in the corresponding areas for Description, Due Date, Parts and Tools.


9. It is also possible to “Duplicate Inspection” by checking or unchecking the appropriate box.


Don’t forget to save!


EDIT A CAMO WORK ORDER: (1:47)


1. Go to the CAMO Module.


2. Click on the ‘Work Orders’ tab.


3. Click on the three dots next to the Work Order you want to edit.


4. Choose ‘Edit CAMO Work Order’.


5. Edit or add all the information you need.


Don’t forget to save!


DELETE A CAMO WORK ORDER: (2:06)


1. Go to the CAMO Module.


2. Click on the ‘Work Orders’ tab.


3. Click on the three dots next to the Work Order you want to delete.


4. Choose ‘Delete CAMO Work Order’.


5. You will be prompted with a warning: “Attention: Are you sure you want to delete this work order?”. Click ‘Yes’ to delete or ‘No’ to cancel.


PRINT A CAMO WORK ORDER: (2:31) 


1. Go to the CAMO Module.


2. Click on the ‘Work Orders’ tab.


3. Click on the three dots next to the Work Order you want to print.

4. Choose ‘Print CAMO work order’.


5. The system generates a PDF of the Work Order which you will be able to print or download.


Once the CAMO Work Order is created and the maintenance is done, the Maintenance person in charge will register the tasks that have been performed, the parts that have been installed or changed, and fill in the CRS or Certificate of Release to Service.

ROLES AND PRIVILEGES: (3:21)


A user must have the correct Roles and Privileges to be able to Add/Edit/Delete/Print a CAMO Work Order. Let me show you.


1. Go to the Users Module.


2. Click on the Roles and Privileges “shield” icon in the top right-hand corner of the page.


3. Select a role from the dropdown list, for example, Instructor.


4. Click on the CAMO Tab’s “spanner” Icon.


5. Check the box “View CAMO Module.”


6. Click on the “View Work Orders” Tab.


7. Check the boxes, Add/Edit/Delete/Print a CAMO Work Order.


Once you have checked these four boxes, the user is allowed to Add/Edit/Delete/Print a CAMO Work Order.
