How are the sunrise and sunset times defined in the Schedule?

The times are displayed according to EASA's definition of night, which specifies:

“Night” means the hours between the end of evening civil twilight and the beginning of morning civil twilight. Civil twilight ends in the evening when the center of the sun’s disc is 6 degrees below the horizon and begins in the morning when the centre of the sun’s disc is 6 degrees below the horizon. - EASA SERA Regulation, page 22.

To calculate the sunrise/sunset times of your location, you can refer to www.timeanddate.com/sun, although please note that times may differ a few minutes with Private-Radar.
