How to Manage Multiple Bases In-Depth

In this video, I will show you how to manage multiple bases in-depth. You can define and edit the bases for different purposes.

Let's get started.

CREATE NEW BASES / DEFINE A BASE PER AIRCRAFT:

To define the main base and a temporary base per aircraft:

First, log in to your account and click on the Aircraft Module.

When you select an aircraft, you can see the details of the main base and the temporary base in the aircraft information box.

If you want to add or edit the bases, just select an aircraft and click edit.

You can define the main base, the temporary base, and the period of time the aircraft will be at the temporary base.

IMPORTANT: This is how you create new bases that you will see across the different modules.

For more information, watch the video, How to Manage Multiple Bases.

3. You can add a classroom by clicking on the add classroom button or edit by clicking directly on a classroom.

4. Add or edit the name and location in the ‘Edit classroom’ window.

5. The location will create a base that you can use for filtering.

6. Click ‘Ok’ to save the changes.

MANAGE THE BASES IN THE SCHEDULE MODULE:

Now that you have assigned your aircraft to a base you can manage your bases on the Schedule.

Let's see how it works.

Go to the Schedule Module and click on the filter icon on the top right-hand corner of the Schedule page.

Here you can edit the filters and select the base or bases you would like to view. Please be sure to check your other filters to make sure you are filtering the desired information.

To make this easier for you, you can also save Smart Filters. That way you can easily save many different filters to easily and quickly access the filters that you want in just a few clicks.

ATTENTION: If you select one or more bases, the aircraft and instructors that do not have any base assigned will not be displayed.

For more information on Smart Filters, please watch the tutorial Smart Filters for Schedule

MANAGE THE BASES IN THE FLIGHTS MODULE:

3. Pick the base or bases you want to view.

ATTENTION: If you select one or more bases, the aircraft and instructors that do not have any base assigned will not be displayed.

It is possible to not filter by bases, just uncheck all the bases and leave them blank.

4. Don’t forget to save.

LIMIT THE BASES VIEW IN THE SCHEDULE/FLIGHTS/AIRCRAFT/USERS MODULE:

You can limit the bases each profile can view. For example:

1. Go to the Users Module
