How to Configure the Profile Rights for the Mailing Module
In this tutorial, I will show you how to configure the profile rights for the Mailing Module.
The Mailing Module allows you to create targeted communications by sending mailings to specific users or groups, as well as knowing who has read and signed it if required.
Let's get started.
1. First, log in to your account.
2. Go to the Users Module.
3. Click on the profiles icon on the top right-hand corner of the page.
4. Select a profile from the drop-down menu. You can define what rights to give to each profile.
5. Select Mailing from the menu on the left.
Now, if you want this profile to view the Mailing Module, check the box.
You can allow the profile to view all the mailing that have been sent, not only the ones directed to him.
You can also allow the profile to view who has read the mail as well as who has signed it.
You can allow the profile to create, edit and delete a mail. This is usually reserved for the administration level profile allowing the students, for example, to only view the mailing module.
