How to Add/Edit/Delete a Group

In this tutorial, I will show you how to create groups of users. By creating groups you will be able to easily sort your users throughout the application.

You can create as many groups as you want. Users can belong to several groups.


  • You can filter your users by groups.

  • You can filter the schedule by adding other users by group on the schedule.

  • You can apply aircraft rates to groups.

  • You can send mailings to groups.

  • You can share documents to groups.


CREATE:


1. First log into your account.


2. Go to the users module.


3. To create a group, go to the users module.


4. Click on the groups icon on the top right-hand corner of the page.


5. In the User groups pop-up window click on the ‘New Group’ button on the bottom.


6. Type the group name and save.


7. Now select the group on the left-hand side of the users group window. Now you add users by selecting a user from the dropdown menu and click the ‘Add User’ button.


To remove a user from a group, go to the users module, click on the groups icon, select the group from the list on the left-hand side of the Users group window. Select the user and click on the little x to remove this user from this group.


EDIT:


1. If you want to edit a group name, go to the users module.


2. Click on the groups icon


3. Select the group from the list on the left-hand side of the Users group window.


4. Click on edit. Here you can edit the name of the group.


DELETE:


1. If you want to delete a group entirely, go to the users module.


2. Click on the groups icon


3. Select the group from the list on the left-hand side of the Users group window.


4. Click on delete.


5. You will be prompted with a message that says "Are you sure you want to delete this group?" Click YES to delete or NO to cancel.


Start creating groups now and keep all your users organized and easy to filter.
